Important Safety Information

Starting your KEVEYIS journey

Implementing a treatment plan is a move in the right direction. KEVEYIS can help you gain greater control over PPP episodes. It’s proven to reduce the number, severity and length of PPP episodes.1,2

Get the most out of your treatment

Keep in mind that everyone’s treatment journey is different, and it may take some time to find the right KEVEYIS dose.1

To get the most out of your treatment, remember the 3 T’s:

Take

Take your prescribed amount every day. Avoid skipping doses, which can lead to episodes of muscle weakness and/or temporary paralysis. If you miss a dose, take your next dose as scheduled.

Track

Track your episodes and how they change using the Daily Tracker Tool. This will help your doctor determine if you’re taking the right amount.

Talk

Talk regularly with your doctor to ensure KEVEYIS is working for you. It’s normal for your doctor to increase or decrease your dosage, especially in the first 9 weeks.2

Stay with it

KEVEYIS is a long-term treatment meant to be taken daily. Reach out to your doctor or our Patient Access Managers at any time on your KEVEYIS journey for support.

In clinical studies, people noticed benefits of taking Keveyis as they saw continued reduction of their attacks at 1 year.2*

*The double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 9 weeks (N=65) was followed by a 1-year, open-label extension phase (N=58) in which all participants received KEVEYIS. The number, severity and duration of PPP attacks were assessed from weeks 2 to 9 of the double-blind, placebo-controlled study and during weeks 54 to 61 of the 1 year open-label extension.2

PATIENT TESTIMONIAL

“Having better control over my PPP symptoms has meant I can engage more fully in my life. I can babysit my beautiful granddaughter, go out with friends, and have more independence. I worry much less now about falling or having to be rushed to the hospital.”

KEVEYIS common side effects1

It’s normal to experience certain side effects when you start taking KEVEYIS. Some side effects can be resolved with proper techniques or dose adjustment with the help of your doctor.1

PPP MANAGEMENT

Set treatment goals and track progress

Setting treatment goals with your doctor is a great way to track your progress while on treatment.

Treatment goals should be specific to you and could include:

  • Participating in an activity you enjoy
  • Going back to work
  • Traveling

Use the Daily Tracker Tool to stay on top of your PPP management. Remember to keep your healthcare providers informed of your progress and any side effects.
